Lemonada

Lemonada

Lemonada is Lebanese lemonade. This lemonade is originally made of orange blossom water, but in this recipe I replaced it with rose water {followed the original recipe} & it was refreshing. The original recipe suggested we could add either water or soda to make this drink. I went ahead adding soda to make it bubblier than water.

Lemonada
Adapted from here.

4Cans of plain soda
1/2Cup lemon juice

Iced Milk Tea | Hong Kong Style Iced Tea

Iced Milk Tea is a refreshing drink for hot summer evenings. This Hong Kong style iced tea consists of sweeten condensed milk, which adds a sweetness & flavors the drink. For this recipe I used flavored tea bags & I believe they added much more flavor to this tea.

Adapted from here.
Serves-1Cup of tea
Ingredients
2Tea bags {Tazo Chai}
1Cup water
3Tbs condensed milk
Few ice cubes
Directions
- Bring water to boil & switch off heat.
- Add in the tea bags & leave them for few minutes.
- In a glass take tea & 3tbs condensed milk. Mix & taste if the sugar is perfect.
- Top with ice & enjoy the drink.
Note
- I used Tazo chai tea bags. It is a tea with spice mix. Felt very refreshing.
- You can replace Tazo chai tea with your choice of tea.
- This is not a strong tea. You can add 1more tea bag for a stronger flavor.

Pineapple Mango Sangria

Sangria is a drink made of red wine, sweetener & added fruits to it. It is named sangria because of it's red color, which comes from the red wine. If the same drink is made of white wine it is called sangria blanca. This summer drink is originated from Spain & Portugal.

Pineapple Mango Sangria is a non-alcoholic drink that is made of two different fruits & a little added sweetener along with fruits. If you are making this drink with store bought juices, do check on the sweet levels & add sweetener wisely. Fizz up this drink with soda or sparkling water.

1/2Pineapple juiced / 3Cups pineapple juice
2Mangoes juiced / 2Cups Mango juice
2Tbs honey/agave nectar {as needed}

5Strawberries sliced
1Orange sliced
Few ice cubes
Directions

- In a pitcher mix the 2 juices & honey or agave. Add the sliced fruits to it.
- Chill & serve or serve with ice cubes right away.

Note

- Filter the juices twice to the reduce pulp.
- You can use store bought juices & it would be much easier.
- You can add some sparking water or soda.
- If the juices are sweet enough, skip honey or agave from the recipe.

Mango Strawberry Punch

Mango Strawberry Punch

Mango's aren't my favorite fruit. Back home, while growing up at my parents's place we were surrounded by mango trees. But I never liked them to heart & never felt the urge to have this fruit.
So to reduce my unlikeliness towards this fruit I blend it with other fruits, which are much sweeter & can balance the taste of this fruit. The drink I'm sharing is well balanced with flavors & also energy boosting.
Enjoy the drink !!!
